Matt & I have -- most afternoons -- been exploring the outskirts of our neighborhood…beyond the end of the road. He is doing what every normal boy his age should be doing. And I do encourage him to go out and get dirty and sweaty and dusty and tired.
One other afternoon we climbed trees but today we biked and hiked and explored, with our sticks, just taking in the smell of cow dung, and freshly cut trees, and listening to the mysterious rustle of insects, perhaps, among the high grass, throwing pebbles at the canals to watch the ripples in the water.
We explored another trail this time and biked on the road that led us to a low traffic area where a horse farm was.
And a very friendly horse that sauntered towards the fence to say hi.
Back from the horse farm into another fenced lot overgrown with dry, prickly undergrowth.
Why is it so hard to make this boy pose for the camera?
And now for his favorite part—climbing his “Mt. Everest”, pole in hand.
And a gorgeous sunset, on top of a hill.
When I saw the sun glow in the horizon behind Matt, I instantly seized the moment to capture his silhouette – a boy, on top of his favorite hill at sunset.
Anne,I really like ur blog miga!Continue doing it...
